Hi, I'm Willow :)
Well, actually, my name is Wilanrie Botha, but most people like to call me by my nickname Willow. I grew up in a small town with big dreams that led me to the city, where I’ve turned my passion into purpose. I love exploring new cultures, trying unique foods, and finding charm in every town/ city I visit. These days, you’ll probably catch me sipping on boba tea and enjoying quality time with friends and family.
How It Started
Photography found me long before I called it my career; I was always that friend with the camera. What began as fun photoshoots with friends grew into a passion that took me through competitions such as the Scholastic Arts & Writing awards, college studies in Business Marketing & Media at Lake Area Technical College, and eventually into a full-time creative journey here in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
How It's Going
Today, I specialize in event photography, portraits, weddings, and short-form social media content for individuals and businesses. After moving to Minneapolis, I discovered the variety of markets in need of event photography and social media photo content. Whether I’m capturing a milestone moment or creating content that connects online, my goal is to tell real, energetic, and authentic stories through every photo.
